We’ve been having quite a choppy run the last month. I believe the high of the market is in, and we are mere days/weeks from this market tanking.

100% sold on old crop corn

  • Finish up by targeting 4.54 May, or 4.62 July futures. Basis has stayed consistent in my area. Typically it gets better into expiration for those contracts.

30% sold on new crop corn

  • Most of new crop sales are against Dec. Dec ‘26 target 4.80. Mar ‘26 target 4.93. Comfortable pricing basis .23 or under.
